Creating a community is about more than land use and development, though that is where they start—and it’s where Maier & Warner’s community outreach work generally begins. But once they are built, making a collection of new homes and buildings into a true neighborhood takes another kind of strategic focus.
Our marketing team has been applying its skill at Crown, a 182-acre master-planned community in the heart of Montgomery County, since the first model homes and retail opened in 2013. Our event series at Downtown Crown in 2014, along with incentive campaigns to draw visitors, helped introduce the new restaurant and shopping hub to the county. Today, Downtown Crown is an active destination every night of the week.
The Maier & Warner team has also worked closely with Crown’s homebuilders. We were a part of the first sales contracts and first move-ins. From ad campaigns and window graphics to social media and this month’s Progressive Dinner through Crown’s model homes for nearly 100 Realtors, Maier & Warner has helped ensure a robust community and in-demand neighborhood is taking shape at Crown. Being a part of bringing the Crown vision to fruition has been, and continues to be, very gratifying work.
