Situation
Highly valued non-profit organization, Montgomery Hospice, tapped Maier &
Warner PR to raise its visibility in its 25th anniversary year. The organization was
often confused with a similar organization, much to the chagrin of Hospice leaders.
Strategy
- Strategized with board of directors to identify most important messages
- Translated messages and themes into media angles
- Targeted prime media outlets to approach with Hospice story
- Conducted research and created an effective timeline graphic to be used in
media kit
- Primed top officials for media interviews
- Reviewed and provided guidance on communications materials
Results
The campaign generated prominent news stories in key media, spotlighting
Hospice initiatives and executives. Hospice officials were thrilled with timely and
appropriate public attention.
