Fairfax County Officials, Silverstone Senior Living & Watermark Retirement Communities Celebrate Grand Opening of The Providence
$75 million community brings assisted living and memory care to MetroWest.
Fairfax, VA (September 30, 2021) —Silverstone Senior Living and Watermark Retirement Communities executives, public officials and community members gathered today for a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception to celebrate the official grand opening of The Providence, a new assisted living and memory care community in MetroWest in Fairfax County, Virginia.
The Providence, owned by Silverstone Senior Living and operated by Watermark Retirement Communities, is a 154-unit assisted living and memory care community that opened in March 2021. Construction began in May 2019.

Located within Fairfax’s MetroWest neighborhood at 9490 Sprague Avenue, The Providence offers assisted living, memory care and The Bridge, an intermediate level of care for those with mild cognitive impairment. With a focus on residents’ health, The Providence features innovations that reduce or prevent transmission of viruses.
